About Murphy

I am Costa Rican, a father of four, an entrepreneur, and a certified real estate agent. I have lived in different parts of the country and spent much of my life exploring Costa Rica through surfing, motorcycles, business, family, and adventure. That has given me a real understanding of the country—not only its properties, but also its communities, lifestyle, opportunities, and challenges.

I started working in business at a young age through a large family-owned company. I learned through experience, responsibility, success, mistakes, and difficult moments. Those years shaped the way I work today: I believe in being direct, honest, practical, and fully involved.

After moving to northern Costa Rica, I became more connected to real estate and discovered how much I enjoy helping people find what truly fits them. Sometimes that is a family home, a place to relocate, a commercial property, an investment, or land with development potential. I enjoy listening, understanding the bigger picture, and helping clients see both the opportunities and the realities.

I am naturally curious and creative. I enjoy developing ideas, connecting people, building business plans, and seeing projects come to life. I have been involved in residential, commercial, hospitality, and development opportunities, but what matters most to me is building trust and creating lasting relationships.

Outside of work, I am a surfer, cyclist, runner, and swimmer. My family and I love the outdoors, the ocean, the rivers, and the freedom Costa Rica offers. I genuinely love this country, its people, its natural beauty, and the meaning behind the Pura Vida lifestyle.

My goal through Miles & Co. is simple: to give clients honest guidance, strong local knowledge, trusted connections, and real support throughout the process.
